So grateful for your generosity! It’s been an awesome year at Generations and we’re humbled you are looking for additional ways to invest.
We’ve prepared some detail that can help as you prayerfully plan your giving:
Year-End Giving Letter. You’ll find summarized wins from our past year of ministry and practical details on how you can give.
Financial Snapshot. You’ll find details on everything “Dollars and Cents” at Generations – aimed at building trust and getting you up to speed when it comes to our management of money.
As the letter states, we rely on an increase of giving around $150,000 at year end to meet our annual budget. Channeling your giving to General Fund or Building Fund gives us maximum help and flexibility.
In addition, we know giving towards specific projects can be most meaningful for some. Here are some great projects to look at making an investment in:
Children’s Ministry. We’re making great progress on our children’s remodel. We’d love to continue new carpet from the hallways into each classroom [$1,000 to $2,500 per area] and fellowship hall [$20,000]. We’ll also raise about $10,000 towards VBS next summer. Approximately $50,000 total.
Guest Experience. The back-end connection systems that feed our video projection have failed. And our internet connection is spotty as we’re dedicating significant band-width to live stream of our services on Sunday [now reaching over 300 people weekly]. Upgrades to fix video, sound quality and increase internet are $15,000 to $20,000.
“My Story” Videos. We would love to increase use of video testimonies, having one every month, also upgrading the quality of each video. $10,000 would allow PT staff hours to do this.
Residency. We have opportunity for 2-3 residents in the areas of youth, worship and adult ministry. Residents help Generations move further faster, and any investment here also affirms God’s calling on the lives of each resident, equipping them for a life of ministry. Each resident costs $700 per month, or $8,400 annually.
Outreach. We’re seeing really positive returns from mailings and social media campaigns in Greeley and Windsor. In Windsor alone, we’re reaching over 100 new people every week. We’d love to plan an aggressive ad and outreach campaign this Easter. To reach Greeley and Windsor well, this would cost $8,000 – $10,000.
